A plug key is a device used in electrical circuits to make or break connections. It consists of a brass or plastic housing, a metal or plastic knob, and a pair of screw terminals. By turning the knob, the screw terminals are brought together or separated, thereby allowing or preventing the flow of electricity through the circuit.
